Wheaton Chamber - Make a Difference Day Oct. 24th
Wheaton Chamber Makes a Difference on Oct 24 for People's Resource Center
The Wheaton Chamber of Commerce Community Relations Committee comes together with the Wheaton Chamber Business and the Wheaton Community to stuff a truck with food for People's Resource Center on Make a Difference Day, Saturday, October 24, 2009.
We’ll be collecting non-perishable food items around the community at chamber member businesses throughout the month of October. Then on Make A Difference Day, we’ll need a host of volunteers to help us stuff the truck with all the food collected.
If you want to promote your business or organization to the community and make a difference, we are looking for the following volunteers:
· Chamber Member Businesses to place food barrels in their stores and offices to collect non-perishable food during October
· Non-profit organizations who want to volunteer to collect food and help stuff the truck on October 24th.
· Businesses who want to partner on this event to help with promotion and signage
· Individuals who want to lend a helping hand
